How Bluesky Solutions Limited handles personal data on this website and in our services.
1. The short version
This website is a static brochure site. It has no user accounts, no analytics trackers, no advertising pixels and no forms that submit data to our servers. The contact form on this site only pre-fills an email inside your own email application; nothing you type is transmitted to or stored by this website. We receive personal data only when you choose to email or call us, or when we work together under a service agreement.
2. Data we collect and why
2.1 When you contact us
If you email info@blueskysolutionslimited.com or call +1 765 709 9326, we receive the information you choose to share, typically your name, email address, company details and the content of your message. We use it to reply, prepare proposals and maintain our business correspondence.
2.2 When you become a client
To deliver services we process the data reasonably required for the engagement: contact and billing details, the business information you share during discovery, credentials or access you grant to marketing platforms, and campaign performance data. We use this data solely to perform the agreement, invoice you, and meet our legal obligations.
2.3 When you visit this website
Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical server logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps) for security and capacity purposes. We do not add our own analytics or tracking on top of this. This site loads the Inter and Plus Jakarta Sans typefaces from Google Fonts; when your browser requests those font files, Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Google's handling of such requests is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
3. Legal bases
Where the law requires a legal basis for processing (for example under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, or the GDPR or UK GDPR when they apply to a client relationship), we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering agreed services), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, running and securing our business), and legal obligation (accounting and tax record keeping). Where consent is the appropriate basis, we ask for it separately and you may withdraw it at any time.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that make our operations possible, such as our website hosting company and our email service provider, acting under their own confidentiality and data protection commitments;
- Marketing platforms (for example advertising or email platforms) when you have engaged us to operate accounts held in your name, and only to the extent the engagement requires;
- Professional advisers and authorities where disclosure is required to comply with law, enforce an agreement, or protect rights, safety or property.
5. International transfers
We are based in Hong Kong and serve clients worldwide. Correspondence and files are processed in the jurisdictions where we and our service providers operate. Where applicable data protection law requires safeguards for cross-border transfers, we rely on measures such as contractual data protection commitments with our providers.
6. Retention
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period, after which it is deleted. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and thereafter for up to seven years to satisfy Hong Kong accounting, tax and limitation-period requirements, then deleted or anonymized.
7. Security
We limit access to personal data to the people who need it for the purposes above, use reputable providers with encryption in transit, protect accounts with strong authentication, and store client credentials in an encrypted password manager. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and proportionate measures for the small volume and low sensitivity of data we handle.
8. Your rights
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you may request access to, and correction of, personal data we hold about you. If European or UK data protection law applies to our relationship, you may additionally have rights to erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email info@blueskysolutionslimited.com; we respond within the timeframe the applicable law sets, and in any case aim to respond within 14 days.
9. Children
Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting active clients are also notified by email. Continued use of the website after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
